When photographers Eleanor & Pete asked us to join forces in creating a colorful and laid-back elopement style shoot with the coolest real life couple ever, we were all in! We met at a local coffee shop, along with planner Emily Fiorelli for a creative brainstorm session. We bounced ideas off of each other and we all seemed to want to evoke the same feeling: nontraditional, fun, and most importantly - authentic. It needed to truly reflect the couple (tacos over cake, scotch bar and cozy lounge over a traditional bar and cocktail tables, and a tandem bike as the “getaway car”). As a city who warmly welcomes all, we felt it was important to pay homage to our beloved city (enter vintage swans that served as some pretty sweet floral vessels). With so much texture and color, our “floral towers” for the ceremony made a big statement and kept things fun! We are sure this one will remain one of our favorite projects for a long time!
